Networking Event July 26 Jacksonville FL - What I learned

There was a Networking event today that I was able to attend and learned a few things, and information that was already known helped back-up the knowledge learned about Social Networking.

The event was hosted by Patsy Parvin  WorksourceFL.com. Worksource invited  a guest speaker named Steve Ennen from Socialstragegy1 and provided a presentation on the use of social media and strategy. The presentation provided information that was new to me such as using Linkedin groups and posting content to the groups to add value to your "personal brand".   Some information I already knew about from sources primarily via Twitter and Google+, but the presentation also backed up what I knew about social networking.

By attending this network session I was also able to find out about another network meeting being held at another location by another group.   So it's worth attending.
